DC desilter is the third class solids control equipment to treat the drilling fluids. According to the size of the cone diameter, they are divided into Desander and Desilter. Usually the cone diameter is less than 6″is called Desilter, and used as the third-control equipment in drilling operation. We commonly used 5 "and 4" cone to separate solid-phase particle size 15-47μm in the drilling fluid.
DC solid control delivey a set of CNQ100X12 Desilter and spare parts for our Singapre repeat client who had already cooperated with us more than 5 years. And purchsed more than 10 sets desilter per year.
DC Solid control polyurethane hydrocyclone offers a high volume 4” cone, while providing contractors an economical replacement for less efficient older equipment.
Desilters should be used on all unweighted, water-base mud. These units are not used on weighted muds because they discard an appreciable amount of barite. Most barite particles fall within the silt-size range.
Desilter operation is important for all unweighted fluids; however, in oilbase muds with high viscosity (as found in deepwater drilling), the apex discharge may be centrifuged for oil-phase salvage.. Further more, the desilter is the best choices for small mud system for HDD,CBM, water well drilling, mining exploration industry etc.
