Hydrocyclone desander and desilter used for solid control system

Hydrocyclone is divided into drilling fluid desander, desilter and miniature swirler according different diameter.

The drilling fluid desander: The diameter is 150-300mm swiler is called drilling fluid desander. The throughput of desnader is exceed 20-120m3/h in the pressure of 0.2MPa. In the normal condition of drilling fluid desander can eliminate 95% is bigger than 74um drilling cuttings and 50% is bigger than 30um drilling cuttings. When choose drilling fluid desander, the throughput should be 5 times of maximum discharge.

The desilter: The diameter is 100-150mm swire is called desilter. When the input pressure is 0.2Mpa, the throughput can’t be less than 10-15m3/h. The normal working sate of drilling fluid desander can eliminate 95% bigger than 40um drilling cuttings and 50% bigger than 15um drilling cuttings. The licensing throughput of desilter should be 1.25-1.5times of the maximum displacement.

The structure and working theory of hydrocyclone: Hydrocyclone is a conical vessel with cylindrical parts, the cylindrical part in upper vertebral body is called fluid cavity, there is a intake pipe lateral the cylinder, to tangent form and fluid cavity, the top of the vessel is overflow month, bottom is bottom month, a hollow circular tube along the swire axis from the top extended to fluid cavity, the circular tube is called overflow month, it is convenient to overflow.

We must ensure the before disposing equipment-drilling fluid shale shaker work efficiency. We should choose the detail screen and it can’t appear by-pass flow or amyxis, prevent the swire appear solid phase overload and blocking. 

Choosing the appropriate centrifuge, ensure inlet pressure. In the suction side should be added put screen, in order to prevent the big particle cluster suction. We should add the right amount water in swire, decreasing drilling fluid density and viscosity and increasing the separation efficiency of swire.
